How many years have you been practicing yoga? 20 years

Why did you sign up for 8 Weeks of Wellness Program through Yoga Essence?  I hadn’t practiced in a while and I decided to join the yoga studio. When I saw that there was an 8 Weeks of Wellness Program I knew that it was divine timing and my instinct told me to do it! It was a great way to jump start my yoga practice and allow me to participate with others on reaching our yoga, spiritual, & nutritional goals.

What was your favorite part of the program? I really enjoyed that it encompassed a variety of areas and not just yoga. I loved the spiritual goals and the nutritional goals as well. I LOVED the binder! I was able to personalize it and keep track of my goals plus I enjoyed the articles in there.

How do you feel this programed impacted your life?  I feel that by immersing myself in this program I was able to successfully restart my yoga practice. I wasn’t competing with others but really challenging myself. I was already practicing many of the spiritual elements and it was nice to see how many of the other students were enhancing their spiritual practice. I also nudged myself to go to as many yoga classes as I could, and I could see how quickly and happily my body responded.

Any other thoughts you would like to share about your experience?  Yes, I saved the best for last. Being a part of this experience wouldn’t have been as wonderful as it was if it weren’t for the amazing collective energy in the studio made up of the incredible teachers/owners, teachers and students. I feel so much a part of this tribe/community that my overall vibration has been elevated.

How many years have you been practicing yoga? 7 years

Why did you sign up for 8 Weeks of Wellness Program through Yoga Essence? I thought it would be a great opportunity to try out all the classes/instructors, to learn something new and to have fun!

What was your favorite part of the program? I enjoyed getting to know the community better, finding new classes/instructors that I really enjoy.  I loved the weekly challenge and how the program kept building week after week.  Love the oils, mini massages at the end of most classes.  Loved the Couples Yoga workshop & Yin Yoga!

How do you feel this programed impacted your life? I think that I’m more present/in the moment, more grateful, more flexible & stronger.  I am more on track health-wise, especially after the holiday.  Doing daily good deeds really makes me feel good too!

Any other thoughts you would like to share about your experience?  Very impressed with the instructors/owners in general at Yoga Essence.  They are top notch.  I enjoyed the community at Yoga Essence- they are friendly, kind & helpful.

How many years have you been practicing yoga? 15 months consecutively

Why did you sign up for 8 Weeks of Wellness Program through Yoga Essence? I wanted to try to get back on track with healthy choices and a consistent yoga practice to start the new year.  I also liked the idea of accountability.

What was your favorite part of the program? My favorite part was how I felt when I did 4 or 5 classes every week.  My body got stronger and my mind was calmer.

How do you feel this programed impacted your life? This program helped me to form the habits that make me feel better on a day to day basis like drinking more water and green juice, also being more mindful and strengthening my body.

Any other thoughts you would like to share about your experience?  Competition works for me, even though I’m usually only in competition with myself.

How many years have you been practicing yoga? On and off for about 15 – I started going to classes with my dad when I was in high school!!

Why did you sign up for 8 Weeks of Wellness Program through Yoga Essence? I signed up because I wanted to be part of a journey that could help reshape my mind set, motivation, and perspective about myself and my health, both physical and mental. The warm, loving, nonjudgmental vibe that the tribe at Yoga Essence has established was a key factor in deciding that this was the right group to trust and fully immerse myself in.

What was your favorite part of the program? There were so many!! The binder and my journal became my friends. I never journaled. Full disclosure – I refused to in the past. But the focus on the spiritual goals, mantras, and intentions gave me a new perspective and trust in the process and I have come to incorporate my gratitude journal into my everyday routine. My absolute favorite part was how it was focused on wellness all around, not particularly weight loss.

How do you feel this programed impacted your life? This program has impacted my life in ways I never thought it would. I have become a happier, more grounded human because of the skills this program as taught me. I have become more aware of what I put in my body and how I treat myself.

Any other thoughts you would like to share about your experience? I encourage everyone regardless of level, how many days you can practice, etc to try the program, a workshop or class at Yoga Essence. I was able to set my own goals and feel ok with what I can do for myself. Because that’s what it’s all about – YOU!!

How many years have you been practicing yoga? 9 years!

Why did you sign up for 8 Weeks of Wellness Program through Yoga Essence? To be honest, I was skeptical about signing up for the program but as a teacher and a member of Yoga Essence, I thought it would be best to have an open mind and go for it. I’m glad I did!

What was your favorite part of the program? My biggest concerns when signing up were the spiritual and health goals. Although I did not participate in the health goal, the spiritual goals became one of my favorite parts of the program. I do not consider myself a very spiritual person, so I was nervous to try. However, the challenges each week were very practical and easy to accomplish. The gratitude, kindness, and get out of your comfort zone weeks were my favorite to participate in. It was fun to find creative ways to accomplish the goal for myself and for my classes!

How do you feel this program impacted your life? I really felt great during those 8 weeks. My body felt great and I felt more rested than usual. At the very end of those 8 weeks I ran a marathon (that I had also been training for) and I was able to crush my goal. I did way better than I ever thought possible. I also recovered much faster which I am attributing to the 8-week challenge
